Triton Monte Carlo has officially begun and the Pokercode crew have arrived in their numbers. The prestigious Triton series attracts the best of the best competing in nosebleed stakes and at Pokercode, we have a lot of players that are rapidly entering that elite realm. We all know the history of Pokercode at Triton, but this time around we have new names in the spotlight ready to leave their mark on the biggest stage.
At Pokercode, we’ve become accustomed to seeing some familiar faces battling on the Triton stage. None more so than Fedor Holz and Matthias Eibinger. With just over $23m in Triton earnings and seven titles between them, they’ve dominated the Triton circuit in recent years and show no signs of slowing down. The bar is set for others to reach and they might just get there.
Back in March at Jeju Triton, Mario Mosböck secured his second Triton title in the $25,000 GGMillions for $1.1m and Roland Rokita bagged a trophy on his Triton debut in the $20,000 8-Max Event for a cool $904,000. They’ve been working together since Grindhouse 1 launched in 2020 and have made incredible progress in the last four years. With three Triton titles between them, they’ll be looking to add more to their collection in Monte Carlo.
Samuel Mullur, affectionately known as “Samu” in the Pokercode community, has been dominating the online scene this year and is looking to take that momentum into Triton Monte Carlo. The 24-year old made his debut at Triton Jeju back in March and got some experience in the biggest competitions around, but something tells me that this trip will be more memorable for him. He’s already amassed over $3m in tournament winnings and has a WSOP Bracelet to his name, but now he has his eyes set on a Triton trophy.
Joining the Pokercode crew in Monte Carlo and making his long-awaited Triton debut, will be Curtis Knight. Curtis is an incredible coach and has been for the Pokercode community for a number of years now, but his work with Fedor and the s00n project has propelled him to a new level. He’ll be bringing a fresh impetus to the team with his coaching expertise and high-stakes experience. Let’s see if he can follow in Roli’s footsteps and collect a trophy on his first Triton visit.
If you thought that was it, you were wrong. New to the Triton scene this year are Tom Fuchs and Emilien Pitavy. Members of Fedor’s s00n project and incredible poker minds, the guys have been playing high-stakes events around the world and are ready to conquer the biggest stage of them all. Both will be amongst the Pokercode team and looking to make their mark on their debuts.
Fedor recently spoke about what Triton means to him and how special it is to have a team around him that are all focused on achieving the same thing and pushing each other forward. He said: “Triton is always something special; it’s not just about the money, but also the prestige. We’ve been preparing intensively for weeks.”
It’s going to be an exciting month at Pokercode, railing the team at Triton and hopefully watching them win some more trophies to add to the cabinet. The beauty of it is, you could be next. If you aspire to reach the highest level and eventually compete at Triton events, Pokercode is the place for you. Our coaches and community want to help you every step of the way in achieving your poker dreams.
