2024 has been a banner year for the Pokercode community, with remarkable performances across the biggest tournaments in the world. Let’s take a closer look at where and how we dominated on the felt this year.
Luka Bojovic is a live poker phenom and he kicked off the year securing a title he’d been waiting for. He took down the WSOP Circuit Event, $6,000 No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack, adding a ring to his collection and another prestigious title to Team Pokercode’s trophy cabinet. Expect to see him building stacks in 2025 and being at numerous final tables across the globe.
Fedor Holz, the cornerstone of Team Pokercode, found a new addition to his trophy cabinet by securing his fourth Triton Title, winning the $15,000 No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed event in Jeju for $786,000. Holz has had multiple opportunities since to collect a fifth Triton title and secured two seven-figure scores at the Monte Carlo stop in November. It’s just a matter of time before we see him lifting another trophy.
Mario Mosböck continued dominating the higher-roller scene this year, winning the $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em GGMillion$ event in March at Triton Jeju, earning $1,191,196 and his second Triton title. Mario didn’t stop there and reached the final table in three more Triton events later in the year, collecting just under $3m for his efforts. One thing is guaranteed, we’ll be speaking about him for a long time to come.
Roland Rokita added to his already impressive resume by making the headlines at Triton, Jeju back in March. He finished on top of the field in the $20,000 No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed event earning $904,000 for his efforts. Since the original Grindhouse in 2019, Roland has already achieved incredible results on the live felt and rest assured, there’ll be more to come from him in 2025.
In July, Jamie Walden clinched his first World Series of Poker bracelet by winning Event #95: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em. Outlasting a field of 1,119 players, Walden put on a fine display at the final table, securing the top prize of $313,370 and more importantly, the gold bracelet.
Grzegorz Kozieja put his stamp on the live poker scene late in December 2023 as he emerged victorious in the €2,200 No-Limit Hold’em Eureka High Roller, securing €474,510 and the first of many trophies we’ll see him collect in the years to come. In 2024, he’s continued in a similar vein with multiple final table appearances, amassing more than $400k in live earnings with a recent 2nd place at the EPT Prague stop this month.
Sebastian Schulze, member of Grindhouse 2 picked up his first EPT Title back in September as he took down the €2.7k Second Chance Event for €326,600 and the beautiful trophy. Coming into the final table as the shortest stack, he battled back to show his resilience to claim the first and definitely not the last EPT title of his career.
Tom Fuchs, one of the newest additions to the high-roller live poker scene, achieved a remarkable victory in the WSOP Bahamas €50,000 + €2,000 WSOP No-Limit Hold’em High Roller event, earning $1,292,000 for his efforts and his first gold bracelet. Tom made his Triton debut earlier this year and was already putting up some great results with multiple final table appearances, but on this occasion he took home the trophy and put his name on the map.
David Kaufmann, another member of the s00n group with a phenomenal performance in 2024. David finished runner up in the €5,300 EPT Main Event in Paris for a big pay-day of €804,750 for his troubles. Despite not collecting the trophy on this occasion, there’ll be plenty more opportunities for David to come in 2025.
Noel Eicher captured the title in the $1,110 No-Limit Hold’em MSPT Main Event, showcasing his ability and securing $61k for his final table performance. Noel has been a member of the community for some time now and his hard work paid off big time. He’s gone on to reach plenty of final tables since this victory and the next trophy is just around the corner.
Fabian Bartuschk shone brightly at the €2,200 No-Limit Hold’em Eureka High Roller, taking home the trophy and €58k to go with it. Fabian is a true live poker grinder, attending numerous stops every single month and consistently putting in volume and results. If there’s a live poker stop happening, Fabian will be there and you can also expect him to make deep runs majority of the time.
These accomplishments reflect the hard work, dedication, and strategic prowess of Team Pokercode. As we celebrate these victories, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries and achieving even greater success in 2025 and beyond. Here’s to another year of excellence and domination!
