Fedor Holz recently visited Madrid, Spain, to attend the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series. The plan was to play all the No-Limit Hold’em events and compete against some of the toughest opponents in the world and capture it all on camera.
What is the best way to get a real peek inside the world of Super High Rollers? Exactly, follow around someone who competes in them, and has competed in them for years already. We decided to do exactly that when Fedor Holz announced he was going to play at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Madrid.
The plan was simple. Play every No-Limit Hold’em event from the start, and try to win as much money as possible while having a filmmaker follow every move to give a real insight in the Super High Roller scene.

The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Madrid was set to take place from May 13th until May 25th. The event kicked off with a €20,000 No-Limit Hold’em event on Friday the 13th but plenty were willing to test their luck. The series, counting an impressive 13 events, was headlined by not one, but two Main events. The €100,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event started on May 20th and the €100,000 Short Deck Main Event was set to take place on May 23rd.
Fedor Holz wasn’t the only Pokercode coach trying his luck as Matthias Eibinger also made the trip down to the Spanish capital to give it a shot at the Super High Roller series after winning a Turbo event when Triton Poker visited Cyprus.
