Pocket Rockets

Hole cards with two Aces are called"Pocket Rockets" in poker slang. This refers to the player having two aces as his starting hand combination.

The name comes from two capital AA letters on ace cards that look like a rocket to some degree. Since this is Texas Holdem's best possible starting hand combination, you should be very happy when you get pocket rockets and can fire your ships in the middle.
