Suited

Suited is the poker term for a starting hand made up of two cards of the same suit.

For example, As Js is a suited hand since both cards are spades, while As Jc would be an offsuit variation since these cards have different suits.

Suited hands are significantly more valuable since they give you a flush way more often, which is a very strong combination, and even more, they give you multiple options to bluff when youhit a draw. Therefore, you will have more chances to take down the pot with both made hands and semi-bluffing in different situations.

When picking which hands to play, remember that suited holdings have more EV and will even help you realize that equity easier.
