Turn

Turn refers to the fourth community card dealt face-up after the second round of betting.

For example, let’s say you are playing aTexas Holdem cash game where you decide to c-bet on J 6 4 while holding KJ, your opponent calls, and the dealer turns the five on the table, making the board J 6 4 5. In this case, the five is considered the turn since it is the fourth community card that is dealt on the table.

The turn is a very important card that can change the board texture, complete draws, or even bring new drawing opportunities to the players, so it is important to have well-structured and balanced ranges going into it.
