With the GG Spring Festival rolling on and SCOOP heading into the final weekend we take another look inside the cards (and mind) of one of poker’s brightest players. Pokercode founder Fedor Holz found himself on the final table (and Day 2) of the first $10,300 of the Spring Championship of Online Poker with over $254,000 for the winner of the tournament. It wasn’t an easy final table with players like Dominik ‘Bounatirou’ Nitsche, Jon ‘Apestyles’ Van Fleet, and Simon ‘C.Darwin2’ Mattsson but what can be expected from an online $10k.
Fedor’s deep run wasn’t the only one of the festival. In the previous Twitch Highlight video, you could see ‘CrownUpGuy’ finish 2nd in a $2,100 turbo. Later in the series, Holz took down a $2,650 side-event of the GGSF for $44,900 and won the $1,500 Sunday Marathon a day later for $124,500. A fifth-place finish followed in the $1,050 High Rollers Main event for $54,000.
In the meantime, Matthias Eibinger finished 5th in the $25,500 Sunday Five Million of the GGSF for $343,000. Eibinger also finished in 2nd place in the $5,200 SCOOP-08-H for $135,000 and took home another 5th in the $25,500 Super High Roller worth $202,000.
