Mario Mosboeck Remains On Fire - Community Scores

Milko van Winden

It's a new month with big series popping off left and right. WCOOP is in full force and of course the WSOP Online on Pokercode by GGPoker. We took another deep dive into the community to dig up some successes that happened in the past month.

Hannes Goes to Las Vegas

The month started out with a bang within the Pokercode community as member Hannes managed to win his way to the 2021 WSOP in Las Vegas. By playing the $80 Road to Vegas tournament on Pokercode by GGPoker he managed to secure himself a seat in the $10,000 Main Event. We all know that one person who converted a $40 satellite into winning the Main Event, so it definitely is possible. Good luck on your trip to the states, Hannes!

Mario Mosboeck Keeps Crushing

Mario Mosboeck followed up in the early hours on Monday, August 2nd. The former Grindhouse participant and SCOOP Main Event champion took home $36,406 in the $315 Bounty King but had no plans of slowing down in the month of August. On August 16th he finished on the 2nd step of the podium, but the score was quite a lot bigger. Another $53,132 was added to Mosboeck's balance for finishing in 2nd place of the $109 Warm-up on ACR.

If you thought that was it then you don't know Mario yet. On the final Sunday of the month he didn't just take down the $250 Monster Stack on Pokercode by GGPoker but he also managed to claim a seat at the final table of the $10,300 Super MILLION$ High Rollers. He started the day as the short stack but after laddering one spot Mario's fate was sealed. He picked up ace-king in early position but David Yan found pocket Kings. The chips went to the middle and Mario was drawing to 2 outs that he couldn't hit resulting in an 8th-place finish worth $57,750.

Other Community Highlights

Mario might've taken on the bigger buy-ins, but plenty of our community members had success on their own respective levels. Dominik was fortunate enough to take down the Zodiac Rabbit Lucky Bounty for $770. Chris finished in 2nd in the $21 Bounty Hunters Special for $2,171 and 'artorollin' came very close to another final table in the Global MILLION$ $50 tournament, finishing in a painful 10th place worth $4,673.

Jansen had to settle for 4th place in the $31.50 Bounty King Jr. for $2,487 while Sebarino claimed the bronze medal in the $88 daily special for $3,577. Sebarino didn't stop there as he would claim 2nd place in the $25 GGMasters Bounty only days later for $2,903.

There's another full week of WSOP action left on Pokercode by GGPoker and if you can still join the fun by registering now!
